Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
Football 2026 - Live Scores ("the App") is developed by Nebula Work Studio. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
The App does not require you to create an account. Most data stays on your device. We collect the following:
- Preferences — your favourite teams, notification settings, and display preferences are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
- Push notification token — if you enable match alerts, your device's push notification token is stored on our backend (Supabase) solely to deliver alerts. It is not used for advertising or sold to any third party.
- Anonymised usage events — screen views and feature interactions are collected via PostHog to help us improve the App. No name, email, or precise location is included. You are identified by a randomly generated device ID, not by any personal information.
- Device identifiers for advertising — if you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, an advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used by Google AdMob to show relevant ads. You can revoke this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Purchase information — if you subscribe to Football 2026 Premium, RevenueCat processes and stores your purchase status to verify your entitlement. No payment card data passes through our servers.
Advertising and App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
The App displays ads to non-premium users via Google AdMob. On iOS 14.5 and later, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before enabling personalised ads. If you decline, you will still see ads but they will not be based on your activity across other apps and websites. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Football 2026.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:
- football-data.org — provides match data, standings, and team information. Privacy info
- Supabase — backend infrastructure for our data proxy and push notifications. Push tokens are stored here. Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob — serves ads to non-premium users. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data for advertising purposes. Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases and premium entitlements. Privacy Policy
- PostHog — collects anonymised product analytics (screen views, feature usage). No personally identifiable information is sent. Privacy Policy
- RSS news feeds — news content is fetched from public RSS feeds (The Guardian, ESPN). No personal data is sent when fetching news.
Data Retention
Local preferences are retained until you delete the App or use the "Reset App" option in Settings. Push notification tokens are deleted from our servers when you disable all alerts for all matches or upon request. We do not sell or rent your data to any third party.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. If you are in the EU or EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To opt out of personalised advertising on iOS, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and disable tracking for Football 2026, or toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track".
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
